Primary Immunodeficiency Network of South Africa (PiNSA)

About Member

PiNSA is a non-profit association which was formed to support patients with Primary Immunodeficiency  (PID) and their families. PIDs are a genetic set of more than 200 diseases that affect the immune system. Because many of these diseases present as a common infections, they often go undiagnosed. The main aims of PiNSA are creating awareness of PID amongst the general population as well as the medical community, and supporting those with PID through information and counselling. Although primarily a patient/family group, there is a medical advisory panel who are able to answer questions.
